German students learn about Vodokanal’s water treatment technologies


On 7 June, students of the University of Hamburg met Vodokanal specialists under a joint project with the St. Petersburg State University (SPSU).

V.A. Gvozdev, deputy director of the Technology Development and Environment Protection Department, and L.V. Leonov, chief technology development specialist, told the students from the SPSU Faculty of Journalism and the Hamburg University Media Research School about treatment plants in St. Petersburg and wastewater treatment stages. The German guests are preparing a news item about the wastewater treatment technologies and sludge management methods applied at our company. Similarly, students from St. Petersburg will get the knowledge of the sewerage system in Hamburg and present the information they have obtained in their project work.
